Hampshire Hotel

The Shaking All Over poster was such a hit that the manager of the Hampshire Hotel asked Red Pepper Retro to create a “What’s On” poster for the venue. He wanted a funky, retro, kind of a Madmen, feel to the poster – and he loved what we came up with! We’ve used the poster for Hitchcock movie “The Man with the Golden Arm” as inspiration for this one and the torn paper panels make an interesting alternative to the boring old list and grid formats that “What’s On” posters usually use. The original Hitchcock poster featured amazing hand lettering by the  Art Goodman, and this has been recently translated into a digital font called “Hitchcock” by Matt Terich.
